Dynamos overpower MWOS to keep title hopes alive

Dynamos put on a dominant show to dispatch MWOS by 2-0 in a Match Day 22 encounter played at Ngoni stadium on Sunday.
The visitors found their first goal through a seemingly harmless cross by Christopher Nettey which somehow eluded everyone else, fortuitously finding its way into the net.
Dynamos got their second after 67 minutes through a Moses Demera header.
Aristica Cioaba’s men’s remain positioned third on the league with 40 points to their name.
They are 9 points behind league leaders, Scottland and two behind second placed Hardrock, who finally won their first ever game at Rufaro stadium following a similar 2-0 victory over Herentals College.
In another match played Sunday, AGAMA heaped more woes on whipping boys Triangle when they beat them by 1-0 at Wadzanayi stadium in Shamva.
Triangle remain at the foot of the league table with a paltry 11 points so far.
In Saturday’s matches, Caps United’s hopes of winning the championship continued to wane when they settled for a goalless stalemate with Ngezi Platinum Stars at Rufaro stadium.
With 36 points from 22 games, they are now a massive 13 points behind pacesetters Scottland.
Simba Bhora bounced back from three defeats in a row to beat Bulawayo Chiefs by 2-0 at Wadzanayi stadium while FC Platinum settled for a one all draw with Bulawayo giants Highlanders.
Chicken Inn’s last gasp goal at Luveve stadium sunk a battling Manica Diamonds by 2-1 whilst ZPC Kariba were involved in a one all draw with FC Hunters at Nyamhunga stadium.
Friday saw reigning champions Scottland continue with their impressive form when they walloped hapless TelOne by 2-0 at Rufaro stadium.
