Scottland battle Simba Bhora in test of character for league champions
Tonderayi Ndiraya plots damage to former club Dynamos' unbeaten run

Reigning league champions Scottland face a stern test of character when they welcome predecessors Simba Bhora at Rufaro stadium in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League week 10 clash this coming Sunday.
There is no love lost between these two clubs as Scottland, who dethroned Simba Bhora to be crowned last season’s champions, lured some of their seasoned campaigners, notably Walter Musona and Tymon Machope to Harare.
The Shamva based outfit would like to flex their muscles and show that they are capable of wresting the championship from the Mabvuku based outfit again despite starting the season on a rather lukewarm note.
While Scottland currently sit third on the league table with 17 points, five adrift of log leaders Caps United, Simba Bhora have 13 points and lie 7th on the table.
The league is certainly in its infancy, and with proper focus, Simba Bhora can catch up with the early pacesetters.
Their 3-0 demolition of FC Platinum at Wadzanayi stadium last week was a chilling warning that they still have a lot to their tank.
In another interesting fixture same day, Dynamos travel to Bulawayo to face former club coach Tonderayi Ndiraya’s Chicken Inn at Barbourfields stadium needing to preserve their unbeaten run that started well last season when they were under the tutelage of gaffer Kelvin Kaindu.
Ngezi Platinum Stars receive troubled Manica Diamonds at Baobab stadium whilst Triangle host TelOne at Gibbo stadium.
Match Day 10 league fixtures, however, start on Friday when floundering giants Highlanders visit Herentals College at Rufaro stadium knowing pretty well that any slip up will imperil their hopes of catching up with the leading lot.
On Saturday, log leaders Caps United entertain Bulawayo Chiefs at Rufaro stadium whilst Hardrock have a seemingly easy encounter against FC Hunters at Chahwanda stadium.
ZPC Kariba battle MWOS at Nyamhunga stadium while AGAMA face off with FC Platinum at Wadzanayi stadium to complete Saturday’s fixtures.
