MWOS humble Simba Bhora as Dynamos blow chance to top league table
Highlanders' ridiculous show continues after playing to seventh straight draw

MWOS beat former champions Simba Bhora 1-0 in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Match Day 7 fixture played at Ngoni stadium on Monday.
The bizarre goal came at the stroke of the hour when Marcelline Mlilo profited from a loose ball that struck him, and then ricocheted straight into the back of the net.
In matches played Sunday, Dynamos rallied back from a 1-0 deficit in the first half to draw level with FC Platinum in a gripping duel at Rufaro stadium. A win would have seen the Glamour Boys clinch top spot on the league table.
Bulawayo giants Highlanders continued to sing the blues after being restricted to yet another goalless stalemate with ZPC Kariba in a match in which they dominated but failed to score at Barbourfields stadium.
The fading Bulawayo giants have now drawn all their first seven games and plunging coach Benjani Mwaruwari’s job into uncertainty.
Manica Diamonds were beaten 2-1 by Herentals at the Green Fuel Arena to conclude Sunday’s matches.
On Saturday, log leaders Caps United failed to steer clear of the chasing pack after being held to a 1-1 draw by a battling FC Hunters at Rufaro stadium.
Hardrock took full advantage of Caps United’s slip up by dispatching struggling AGAMA 1-0 at Chahwanda stadium in Kwekwe to draw level on points with the Harare giants.
Triangle had to come back from behind to level matters with Ngezi Platinum Stars at Baobab stadium in a match that ended with the opponents tied on 1-1.
Bulawayo Chiefs were involved in a goalless stalemate with reigning champions Scottland at Barbourfields stadium whilst Chicken Inn made light work of TelOne by beating them 2-0 in their own backyard at Ascot stadium to put a lid on Saturday’s goal rush.
After Match Day 7 encounters, Caps United continue to set the pace at the apex of the league table, albeit on the strength of a superior goal difference to Hardrock. The two teams are both tied on 16 points each.
Dynamos are third on 15 points with Ngezi Platinum Stars occupying the 4th spot on 15 points as well, but with an inferior goal difference to them.
