7 people die in Mawabeni as speeding truck ploughs into accident bystanders

Seven people died on Saturday when a speeding haulage truck reportedly lost control and ploughed into bystanders at Mawabeni Business Centre along the Bulawayo-Gwanda Road.

The crash victims were bystanders at the scene of another road traffic accident that had occurred moments ealier.

The incident comes as the nation is mourning the death of six members of a Harare family that perished in a horrific road accident alog the Harare-Masvingo Road on Thursday.
