Dynamos, Scottland, Ngezi Platinum trim Caps United’s lead on the table
… as Triangle get their first victory of the season

Dynamos, Scottland and Ngezi Platinum all secured victories Thursday to narrow down Caps United’s lead to a single point on the Castle Lager Premier Soccer league table.
The three are all on tied on 11 points, just 1 behind Caps United who finally lost their first match of the season after suffering a 1-0 defeat away to Ngezi Platinum at Baobab stadium.
Caps United conceded at the stroke of half time following an Ashwin Karengesha strike and the result could have been worse had Ngezi Platinum not missed a second half penalty.
Elsewhere, Dynamos beat MWOS 1-0 to maintain their impressive start to their campaign under Genesis Mangombe.
Jairos Kasondo converted from the spot after 72 minutes to give the Glamour Boys their third victory in five league starts.

In other Match Day 5 clashes played in parts of the country on Thursday, Hardrock were 4-1 victors over Herentals College at Chahwanda stadium.
At Ascot stadium, champions Scottland overcame TelOne with the match ending 3-2 in favour of the champions.
FC Hunters and ZPC Kariba played out a 1-1 draw at Heart stadium. There were two more goalless draws in matches played between Bulawayo Chiefs and Simba Bhora at Barbourfields as well as Manica Diamonds and Chicken Inn at the GreenFuel Arena.
Triangle also secured their first win of the season after defeating Agama 2-0 at Gibbo stadium.
Match Day 5 of the league campaign continues this Friday with Highlanders hosting FC Platinum at Barbourfields.
