BREAKING: Madhuku, party members beaten up in shock raid at party meeting
'Urikuda kutinetsa' masked men said as they assaulted the anti-ED2030 campaigner

National Constitutional Assembly (NCA) leader Lovemore Madhuku and some members of his party have been beaten up for “being a nuisance” by people he says were putting on masks and accompanied by police officers.
The attack came as Madhuku and some of his party members were preparing for a meeting at the NCA offices in the Harare Avenues area.
Madhuku says the aggressors covered their faces with balaclavas but were accompanied by police officers.
They did not accuse him of any other crime except to say that “urikuda kutinetsa (stop being a nuisance)”.
The fierce campaigner for constitutionalism has been at the forefront of resisting the enactment f the proposed which seeks to extend President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s term of office by 2 years and also increase presidential terms to seven years.
