Ex-manager sought for siphoning US$36,000 company funds

US$500 reward for volunteering information leading to his arrest

A US$500 price has been put on the head of a former Trainee Human Resources Manager of Cross Country Containers for allegedly siphoning company funds amounting to US$36,652.

In a press statement, police spokesperson for Harare Province Inspector Luckmore Chakanza identified the suspect as Malvern Munyaradzi Guzuzu, whose last known address was 1146 Southlea Park in Harare.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police Harare Province is appealing for public assistance in locating a wanted person, Malvern Munyaradzi Guzuzu, who is being sought in connection with a fraud case that occurred at Willowvale Industries, Southerton, Harare in August 2025,” said Inspector Chakanza.

The suspect is alleged to have submitted falsified requests for disbursements, thereby deceiving the company into releasing funds which he then converted to his own use.

Guzuzu has an average build and is light in complexion, police said.

The case was reported at Glen Norah police station.
