Confirmed league champions Scottland have hoisted the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League trophy as
they were officially crowned 2025 kings of the domestic league.
They did this in remarkable fashion after they beat TelOne 2-1 in the last fixture of the 2025 season at Ascot Stadium.

Tymon Machope and Tadiwa Chakuchichi were on target for Scottland in the in the 38th and 44th minute, respectively before Tawanda Macheke’s 55th minute strike restored some modicum of respectability in the scoreline for TelOne.
The trophy was officially presented to the club by the First Lady, Auxillia Mnangagwa as fans cheered the historic moment at Ascot Stadium this Saturday.

Scott Sakupwanya’s side clinched the league championship with 69 points to their tally, becoming the first league debutants in Zimbabwe’s Premier Soccer league era to get the country’s biggest football accolade.
The newly crowned Zimbabwe football kings walk away with a US$100,000 winning bonus cheque.
