Boy (15) accused of raping 3 young sisters same time

A 15-year-old Rushinga boy diverted three sisters – aged 8, 6 and 5 – to a river and raped them, all in one incident of sexual abuse, a court heard recently.
He was, however, convicted and sentenced for raping two of the girls, aged 8 and 6.

A Bindura Regional Magistrates’ Court heard that the juvenile met the three sisters walking home and he convinced them to accompany him to a nearby river.
“Once there, the male juvenile raped the young victims. Initially, the victims did not disclose the abuse,” said the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in a Wednesday post on X.
“However, in December 2024, their mother learned of rumours regarding the incidents.
“The victims later revealed what had happened and a police report was promptly filed.”
The juvenile admitted to raping the 8-year-old. He was also convicted for raping the 6-year-old and acquitted on the count involving the 5-year-old.
He was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment after the two counts were combined.
The sentence was wholly suspended for five years.
