The shock incident happened under Chief Wasi area, Madabe, Plumtree when Ndlovu, “together with his accomplice”, Kudzani Muthukuthu, who is still at large, had a misunderstanding with his in-laws over the custody of his two minor children.

The grandparents were living with the two children.

“They went on to lock the kitchen hut from outside before setting it ablaze, resulting in the untimely death of the victims,” Muteweri said.

Ndlovu was convicted for two counts of murder and sentenced to “life imprisonment on each of the two counts by Justice Ngonidzashe Nduna at Bulawayo High Court on 7 July 2025”.
