Zimbabwe Youth Council ups bid to create more opportunities for youths

The Zimbabwe Youth Council (ZYC) is set to host a series of workshops aimed at creating more opportunities and enhancing capacities for the youth.
This was announced Wednesday at a press briefing in Harare by Zimbabwe Youth Council board chairperson Rutendo Mugwagwa.
“To further support youth associations, the Council will host a series of workshops designed to unlock new opportunities and enhance their capacities and compliance.
“Compliance is not a burden, it is a step forward towards professionalism, recognition and sustainability.
“By upholding these standards as youth, we affirm our collective commitment to youth development and position ourselves as reliable partners to Zimbabwe’s transformation,” she said.
Mugwagwa called on youth associations to update their operational status saying that it capacitates the youth Council to better support youth growth and helps them to access more opportunities.
“We are calling on all youth associations to visit the Zimbabwe Youth Council (ZYC) website or offices to update their operational status by the 25th of July 2025.
“This process is not a mere formality, it serves as a powerful tool that will enable the Zimbabwe Youth Council to better support youth growth, connect youth to national opportunities and to advocate more effectively on their behalf with development partners, ministries and the private sector,” she said.
