Man cuts neck, hand, slices off boy’s privates in grisly murder

For letting cattle stray onto his field, a 32 year-old Chinhoyi allegedly cut a 9-year-old minor’s neck, left hand and private parts in a grisly case of murder.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed on Monday that they have arrested Lloyd Gwenhere in connection with Munyaradzi Shumba whose body was also found with a ripped stomach on Sunday.

“On 8 June 2025, police in Chinhoyi arrested Lloyd Gwenhere (32) in connection with a case of murder which occurred at Chogi farm.

“The victim, Munyaradzi Shumba (9) was found dead with a ripped stomach,” police said on their X handle.

According to police, Gwenhere was allegedly spotted assaulting Shumba for letting cattle stray onto his field.
