Man stabbed to death after bid to save woman from attack

A 67-year-old Harare man’s bid to save a woman who was being attacked on Monday night turned horrendous after the attacker stabbed him to death with a knife.

Police confirmed Chidamoyo Tsingano was stabbed once with a knife in the chest by the unknown suspect.

The incident, police said on their X handle, occurred at an open space in Kuwadzana 8, Harare at around 9pm.

“The victim died at the scene,” police said.

In another case of murder which occurred at Daniso Village, Chiweshe, the body of Tatenda Nyamhandu (27) was found dumped in a well with a deep cut on the head and bruises on the arms, Sunday.
