Misfiring Dynamos hire former goal poacher as strikers’ coach

Distressed giants Dynamos, carrying the Zimbabwe premiership’s worst scoring record, have hired former club player and goal poacher Takesure Chinyama as strikers’ developmental and assistant coach to Lloyd Chigowe.
The once fierce giants have only scored two goals in 10 games that they have played so far in the current league campaign.
This means that fans, who have been accustomed to decades of football success, have now celebrated goals only two times in 900 minutes of watching their team in action.
Positioned number 14 on the league table with one win, 5 draws and 4 defeats, Dynamos have scored less often than bottom placed Triangle United who have found the net 7 times so far.
The club’s goalscoring crisis has necessitated the appointment of Chinyama to help sharpen the strike force.
Chinyama has played for South Africa’s Orlando Pirates and Poland’s Legia Warszawa, where he created his own record as the first non-European joint top scorer in the Ekstraklasa history.
The former Zimbabwe National Team striker also scored goals at will during his days at DeMbare.
