By Staff Reporter

A 19-year-old man was Wednesday found hanging from the beam of his parents’ home in Epworth, Harare after he had twice been sent away by his father for impregnating a 17-year-old and disrespect.

Tafadzwa Rimau, who was also said to be abusing drugs, was found hanging by his 11-year-old brother around midday after the minor returned from the shops where he had been sent by the now deceased.

“My brother sent me to the shops and when I returned, I found him dead.

“I then went and reported the issue to my aunt,” his little brother said.

Prior to ending his life, the teenager had reportedly been cohabiting with a single mother of two who later also chased him from her place following a misunderstanding.

He is believed to have ended his life out of frustration for being rejected by his father and girlfriend.

The now deceased had returned home in the absence of his parents to take his own life.

According to his father, Trymore Rimau, his son constantly disrespected him and the values he had introduced to the family. His father believes the taking of drugs contributed to the decision to commit suicide.
