Cruel death as woman’s body found with her underwear next to corpse

In a shock incident, a 30-year-old woman was found dead with marks of physical attack while her underwear was found near her body.

Police on Tuesday confirmed they were investigating “a case of murder in which the body of a 30-year-old woman was found in Nyakapupu, Guruve, on 6 April 2025”.

“The body had visible injuries including bruises on the knees, blood clots on the nose and a copper wire tied around the neck,” police said, adding, “The victim’s skirt was pulled up and pants were found approximately three meters away from the body.”

Police appealed to anyone who could have some information on what transpired to report at any nearest police station.
