Knowledge Musona rejoins Zimbabwe Warriors after three year break

By Sports Reporter

Sensational football star Knowledge Musona is back in the Zimbabwe Warriors fold, three years after he dumped the national team to concentrate on club career.

The Saudi Arabia based star and former Warriors skipper, who has led the national football team in many epic battles before, was named by coach Michael Nees in the squad set for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Benin and Nigeria.

Musona, now 35, joins his younger brother Walter Musona, who has had a phenomenal football career for both team and country.

Walter, who has won the Zimbabwe premiership title with FC Platinum and Simba Bhora, now plies his trade with moneybags and table toppers, Scottland FC.

Scottland dominates the cast of stars who have been summoned to do battle for the country in the upcoming fixtures.

Nees is keen to strengthen his squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations in December this year.
