Man, aged 38, dips fingers into 5-year-old sister’s privates, licks them and rapes her

In a shock incident, a 38-year-old Wedza man called his 5-year-old stepsister into his bedroom , inserted fingers and licked her privates before raping her, a Marondera court heard.
According to prosecutors, the incident happened on January 7, 2025, at around 3pm.

The offender reportedly called the girl into his bedroom and committed the attack.
“He removed her shorts and underwear, laid her on his bed, and told her not to scream, even if she felt pain. He then proceeded to lick her privates, insert his fingers before raping her,” said the National Prosecuting Authority in a statement.
“The assault was witnessed by the victim’s 13-year-old sister, who had been searching for her. She confronted the offender, who threatened her.

“The 13-year-old then reported what she saw to their father. The victim was unable to explain what had happened due to fear. The case was reported to the Wedza police, and a medical examination confirmed the abuse.”
For the crime, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
