The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday last week.

They went on to repeatedly strike Julius on the head with a pot and other unidentified objects, causing severe injuries on him, court heard.
Julius was conveyed to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for treatment.
He was later discharged on the same day but succumbed to the injuries at his home two days after.
