Police called on anyone with information that could assist in their investigations to volunteer such detail at any police station nearest to them.
Cases of suspected ritual murder are common in Zimbabwe.
In January last year, a Kwekwe teacher, Fanuel Mwale, was gruesomely killed with his body dismembered by unknown suspects in a suspected ritual murder.
August last year, a Nkayi villager was also discovered dead with his head missing and feet tied with a wire.
Perhaps the most widely reported of them all was the 2020 killing of Tapiwa Makore, who was 7 at the time, by a man who had allegedly been hired by the minor’s paternal uncle to carry out the brutal act.
The boy’s body was found with no head and other body parts.
