Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) faction leader Jameson Timba has been convicted along with 34 other activists for participating in an illegal gathering.
Timba and 78 others were arrested June 16 this year following a raid by truncheon wielding police officers at the Harare home of the former opposition senator.
Of the group, 28 have been acquitted.
Timba and the rest now await sentencing this coming, according to lawyer Webster Jiti.
