A Zimbabwean farm worker has been jointly accused of gruesome murder on two women and feeding their bodies to pigs at a farm in Limpopo province, South Africa.
William Musora appeared in court in Limpopo province on Tuesday together with his bosses – farm owner Zachariah Johannes Olivier, supervisor Andrian Rudolph de Wet.
They were charged with two counts of premeditated murder, one count of attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
Musora also faces charges of being in the country illegally.
The court was told that sometime in August, a truck belonging to a dairy company dumped potentially expired goods at Olivier’s farm, prompting the women, Locadia Ndlovu and Maria Makgatho, to trespass and try to collect the products.
It is alleged the two women were shot dead for trespassing while their male companion who was also shot managed to crawl to a nearby road to find help.
He told police of the incident with the women’s decomposed bodies later found in the farm’s pigsty.
Prosecutors opposed bail against Musora and his bosses.
The case will continue next month.
