Police appeal for information that could lead to suspects’ arrest

Cash amounting to US$28 000 and 320 grammes was snatched from two people by five suspects who pounced on the pair on Thursday as they drove from Glendale to Harare.
Police have confirmed the incident and have appealed for information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
“Police in Glendale are appealing for information which may assist in the investigations of a case of robbery which occurred at a flyover on 28 August 2024,” police said in a statement on Friday.
“Five suspects who were driving an unregistered White Baby Quantum intercepted the complainant who was driving a Toyota Wish vehicle to Harare with his colleague, before stealing US$28 000 cash and 320 grammes of gold.
“Anyone with information to report at any nearest police station.”
