CCC MP had unprotected sex with 16-year-old, girl reveals raw details
Family lawyer names lodges the two had sex, MP to appear in court on Saturday

CCC legislator Happymore Chidziva booked lodges in Harare where he had unprotected sex more than once with a 17-year-old girl who was 16 at the time, lawyers have revealed in a memo.

The above matter refers.
On the 30th of August 2024, I accompanied Trish Moyo to Harare Central Police Station, Victim Friendly Office to make a police report. She proceeded to make a police report against one Happymore Chidziva. A docket was opened under IR080141.
The brief circumstances of the report are that:
(a) Trish Moyo is a minor, aged 17 whilst Happymore Chidziva is aged 43. The two are related in that the latter is a brother-in-law to the former.
(b) Sometime last year, the two started dating after Happymore Chidziva started luring Trish Moyo using money. At the 2023 Agricultural Show, Happymore Chidziva gave Trish Moyo a $20.00 note and told her that she must not tell his wife that he gave her the money. Since then, Happymore Chidziva started advancing his interests in dating the minor child over the phone and he would give unsolicited favours in the form of money.
(c) Sometime in April 2024, Happymore Chidziva invited the minor child for a meet-up in town. The minor child got into to town around midday and only managed to meet Happymore Chidziva around 17:00 hours for the reason that Happymore Chidziva was saying he was busy and was not picking up calls.
(d) On the day in question, the two meet at the traffic lights at Zanu PF HQ. Happymore Chidziva was using a taxi alleging that his car was not functional. Happymore Chidziva fetched the minor child and went with her to Jameson Hotel where he had already booked a room.
(e) Upon arriving in the room, Happymore Chidziva went to the toilet and then came back and asked for sex from the minor child. The minor child refused citing that they would do it another day. Happymore Chidziva refused the suggestion pinpointing that he had spent huge amounts of money on her so she must not deny him sexual intercourse.
(f) Happymore Chidziva then charged towards the minor child, forcefully removing her clothes whilst closing her mouth to prevent her from raising an alarm. Happymore Chidziva forced himself on the minor child and penetrated the minor child’s vagina using his erect penis until he ejaculated inside her.
(g) The two dressed up on their own and Happymore Chidziva gave $25.00 to the minor child. The two left the hotel. On the following day, Happymore Chidziva sent a message to the minor child advising her to take “morning after” pills.
(h) It is also alleged that on two separate occasions, the two had sexual intercourse, although it was now consensual. One incident was at Waterfalls Guest Lodge and the other was at Cresta Hotel, Msasa.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police has indicated that they prefer a charge of rape but they are yet to make a solid decision. They have also indicated that they would call Happymore Chidziva to avail himself and if they manage to secure his presence, the matter may be taken to court for vetting on the 31st of August 2024.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police has also referred the minor child to Parirenyatwa Hospital for examination. She has been examined and the report is ready for collection by a member of the Zimbabwe Republic Police on any working day starting Monday the 2nd of September 2024.
