CCC MP faces rape after sex relations with 16-year-old orphan uncovered

Police have opened a rape docket against Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) legislator for Glen View North, Happymore Chidziva, for allegedly engaging in sexual relations with a 16-year-old orphan.

The minor, a cousin to the MP’s wife, was reported missing recently, with Chidziva accused of “hiding” her.

The girl’s guardians have since established the minor was in fact in a sex relationship with the 43-year-old lawmaker.

It is an offence under Zimbabwean laws for an adult to engage in sex with someone who is below 18 years of age.
