Police name the juveniles, deceased and sex worker

Two Harare teenagers accused of murdering a 33-year-old man over a sex worker stabbed the now deceased with a sharp object on the abdomen, police have said.
The killer juveniles were named as Rivaldo Siamutheni, 17, and Wesley Mutshimba,16, both from Hopley Zone 6.
The deceased was identified as Nelson Chiripanyanga who was aged 33 while the woman at the centre of the deadly row is 19-year-old Gillian Mutsani.
“Police arrested two suspects in connection with murder in Hopley,” Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza said.
“Circumstances are that the deceased and the accused person are strangers.
“The now deceased, and two of his friends, were drinking beer at Nhando shops, Hopley, Harare.
“An altercation over a girl arose between the now deceased and the accused persons.
“The accused persons stabbed the now deceased on the right side of the abdomen using an unknown sharp object and he fell on the ground.
“The accused persons fled from the scene.”
Police said Chiripanyanga was rushed to Sally Mugabe Central Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
His body was then conveyed to hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
