A 9-year-old boy suffered sodomy when his 22-year-old Mutorashanga uncle forcibly removed his clothes and indulged in anal sex with him.
The incident, according to the National Prosecuting Authority, happened on 19 July this year just before noon.
Prosecutors say the minor victim was playing with his sister in the house when he was called by the uncle into his room.
<犀利士 !– /wp:paragraph –>“Upon entering the room, the accused person closed the door and ordered the complainant to remove his clothes, but he refused,” NPA said.
“The accused person then forcibly removed the complainant’s shorts and indulged in anal intercourse with him, covering his mouth to prevent him from making any noise.
“After the assault, the accused person instructed the complainant to get dressed and warned him not to disclose the incident to anyone.
“The matter came to light when the complainant confided in his sister, who then informed their mother.”
For the crime, the man was arraigned before a Chinhoyi magistrate who remanded him in custody pending the start of his trial 26 July 2024. He faces aggravated indecent assault charges.
