Boy, aged 5, sodomised for the whole night by builder
38-year-old child molester handed 20-year jail sentence

A 5-year-old boy was sodomised several times throughout the night by a 38-year-old man who works as a farm builder after luring the naïve infant with a packet of some biscuits.
For the crime, the unnamed 38-year-old was jailed 20 years after being found guilty for aggravated indecent assault by a Chinhoyi magistrate.
The crime, according to a statement by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), happened on 7 July 2024 at around 9pm.
The accused person lured the 5-year-old boy from his home by giving him a packet of biscuits.
“He took him to a secluded spot where he removed his trousers, gagged his mouth with the trousers and had anal sex with him,” NPA said.
“He sexually abused the child several times throughout the night. At around 0500 hours in the morning, the accused person was seen by a witness carrying the child back to his parent’s home.
“She raised the alarm and the accused person put the child down and ran away. He was eventually caught and a citizen’s arrest was effected.”
