RUBBING IT IN! Mnangagwa, Chivayo flaunt mystery connection
Just when citizens are still searching for clues on how they have found close ties, a bold President Emmerson Mnangagwa and Wicknell Chivayo took it a notch higher weekend when the Zimbabwean leader hosted the dodgy businessman in his Kwekwe farm.
Chivayo, an extravagant millionaire and Zanu PF benefactor has now appeared on many public platforms cosying up to Mnangagwa.
He is who is neither a government nor Zanu PF official.
But the businessman who has enjoyed lucrative government tenders has lately been dishing out cars and cash to Zanu PF loyalists thanking them for showing allegiance to Mnangagwa’s party through song, dance and other forms of expression.
He was introduced to Kenyan leader William Ruto recently when the latter was in the country to preside over the official opening of the Trade fair.
Before that, the ex-convict was paraded and introduced to thousands of Zanu PF supporters by Mnangagwa.
Mnangagwa’s mysterious relationship with Chivayo has raised eyebrows among many locals who suspect the controversial businessman could be used as a front to performing some illegal activities by the incumbent.
