Suspected forex dealer Neville Mutsvangwa to appear in court

Police have confirmed Wednesday’s arrest of Neville Mutsvangwa (44), son to Zanu PF spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa and Women’s Affairs minister Monica Mutsvangwa, in connection with illegally trading in foreign currency.
In a statement on Thursday, police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed Mutsvangwa was arrested together with two other suspects.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirms the arrest of Neville Sunungurai Mutsvangwa (44), Elias Majachani (45) and Simbarashe Tichingana (38) for contravening section 14 (1) of the Bank Use Promotion and Suppression of Money Laundering Act, Chapter 24:24.
“The trio is expected to appear in court on 10th May 2024,” Nyathi said in a statement.
