Warriors fall to Kenya in Four Nations final

The Zimbabwe Warriors lost 3-1 to Kenya at the final hurdle to miss out on the 4-Nations Tournament trophy in a match played at Bingu Stadium, Lilongwe, Malawi on Tuesday.

The Warriors were first to celebrate following an own goal by Kenya just after 4 minutes into the clash.

However, Norman Mapeza’s men could not reproduce the heroics they displayed in their beating of neighbours Zambia in the semi-final when they allowed hat trick hero Michael Olunga to level matters in added time of the first half.

Olunga scored Kenya’s second just after the hour mark before he returned to haunt the Warriors with his third three minutes from the final whistle.

Among the highlights of the clash was the second half sending off of Mapeza by the match official.
