Sonja confirms marriage break-up with Wicknell Chivayo

Says businessman now single and free to live his life the way he wants

Wicknell Chivayo’s wife Sonja Madzikanda has confirmed breaking up with the extravagant businessman in an impassioned plea on trolls to allow the couple to enjoy their new statuses as singles.

After all the hullabaloo about the couple’s marriage, Sonja posted a video on her Instagram, saying they were meant to make the breakup official on 1 May this year.

“Um, he’s a single guy; myself and Wicknell are no longer together.

“We haven’t been together for a while. Um, it’s just gonna be made official. I think we were just probably going to be more official and direct about it on the 1st of May. There are a few things that we are probably still ironing out.

“And you know we still going to be going back and forth about but those people who know, know.

“So, all I can say is he can do whatever he wants with whoever he wants.

“He’s allowed to do that as a single guy and I’m also single … single, not meaning that. I’m sure he has lots of other people but single in that he’s not married to me.

“So, he’s allowed to actually um be do and you know, conquer the world, how he sees that.

“So, I just want to say thank you for everyone who is sending. You know, a lot of love and light.

“We’re still here. I’m still going to be Johnny and Mina’s mom and I’m sure Wickness was still going to be a good dad to them. And that’s just what happened guys.

“Love doesn’t win all the time. You know, and we’re not gonna keep forcing things, just that the haters can be quiet, you know.

“So, I appreciate everyone who’s reached out, I’m sure he has as well.”
