Haaland nets 5 goals past Marvelous Nakamba’s Luton Town
Latest on Warriors star midfielder’s injury induced lay-off

Zimbabwe international Marvelous Nakamba’s Luton Town were humiliated after Erling Haaland scored five goals inside 58 minutes in a 6-2 FA Cup beating of the club by English football heavyweights Manchester City on Wednesday night.
Haaland plundered an eighth Manchester City hat-trick and kicked on to a personal haul of five as Pep Guardiola’s side powered into the FA Cup quarterfinals with a 6-2 mauling of Luton Town.
The Norway superstar has struggled for his best form since returning from a foot injury at the end of last month.
But he was close to unplayable at Kenilworth Road, claiming the matchball before halftime.
Nakamba did not feature in the match with Luton boss Rob Edwards admitting earlier in the week the Warriors star will play again for the Hatters this season.
The 30-year-old, who featured 14 times in all competitions at the start of the campaign, has been out ever since the 2-1 Premier League defeat to Manchester City on December 10, suffering a serious knee injury in training which required an operation.
Posting on social media this week, Nakamba attached a video of him going through some very light training exercises at the Brache, with the message:
“The comeback is always stronger than the setback. See you soon.”
