Man brandishing two pistols threatens to kill Mnangagwa

Accuses Zimbabwean leader of causing massive suffering in viral video, says Mugabe was better

A man brandishing two pistols has recorded a video threatening to kill President Emmerson Mnangagwa whom he accuses of bad leadership and deliberately causing massive suffering among Zimbabweans.

In the video that has gone viral, the finger wagging man who looks between 30 and 40 years of age launches a diatribe against the Zimbabwean leader for splurging on expensive vehicles for government ministers while failing to equip the country’s hospitals with essential medicine.

“What kind of stupidity is that,” he says.

He adds, “If we kill you (Mnangagwa), Zimbabwe is gonna take a new direction. Do you understand, Zimbabwe is gonna be better without you.

“What you are doing so far, Mugabe was better. This is idiotic.

“Pawakapinda iwewe zvinhu zvakatanga kudakwa worse (the situation became worse when you took over power).

“Please be careful. Izvi zvichatanga kupinda mumusoro mako (bullets will be fired straight into your head),” he says while branding two pistols.

“We are going to be using our skills to enter where you are hiding.

“Watch out. We are giving you a warning, be careful mdara Mnangagwa.”

Meanwhile, police on Monday appealed for information that could lead to the arrest of the man.

“The ZRP is appealing for information which may assist to identify and locate a man who is seen on social media brandishing two pistols while threatening to kill the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe and some Government officials.

“The man is wearing a black suit and a purple shirt. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” police said on the X handle.
