Business tycoon Wicknell Chivhayo has purchased Jah Prayzah a luxurious Mercedes-Benz S500 worth US$180 000 claiming the celebrity musician’s songs have had flashes of positive commentary around President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s rule.
Taking to his Instagram, the showy businessman commended Jah Prayzah for his musical contributions he believes resonate with the ruling Zanu PF.
Chivhayo specifically mentioned the song “Kutonga kwaro”, a 2017 Jah Prayzah hit that became even popular when Mnangagwa toppled late former President Robert Mugabe with the aid of the military.
The song was interpreted as a prophetic piece around Mnangagwa’s rule.
