Journalist Mthulisi Mafa arrested for knife stab attack during scuffle

Former Herald Sports journalist Mthulisi Mafa has been arrested, charged with attempted murder following a scuffle in which the scribe allegedly stabbed an unnamed victim with a knife in Harare.

According to a report by news platform Zwnews, Mafa appeared in court on Monday charged with the crime and was remanded in custody.

Circumstances behind the physical altercation were still not clear.

Mafa also worked for the Chronicle newspaper in Bulawayo before relocating to Harare to join the Herald, the flagship Zimpapers broadsheet.
