Chamisa hands Christmas goodies to late Tsvangirai’s mother

By Staff Reporter

CCC leader Nelson Chamisa has donated some groceries to late former opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai’s surviving mother at her Buhera home.

According to CCC, the gift is part of Chamisa’s annual charity dinner initiative.

“President Nelson Chamisa, through his annual charity dinner initiative, handed over an assortment of groceries to Gogo Tsvangirayi, the mother of the late champion of democracy in Zimbabwe, President Morgan Richard Tsvangirayi. These individuals are key pillars of our society, and we honor them with this gesture of solidarity and love,” CCC said.

Tsvangirai died of colon cancer on 14 February 2018 and was succeeded by Chamisa, who would later rename the party as CCC.

It is not the first time Chamisa has donated some Christmas goodies to the mother of the country’s former Prime Minister.

Gogo Tsvangirai is also grandmother to CCC legislator for Norton Richard Tsvangirai.
