Vice President Chiwenga weds soldier wife Miniyothabo

Vice President Constantino Chiwenga and new wife Colonel Miniyothabo Chiwenga wedded in Harare on Saturday in a ceremony that was attended by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The event was held at St Gerard’s Catholic Church in the affluent suburb of Borrowdale.

Chiwenga is in his third marriage inside 30 years.

Previously, he was in matrimony with Jocelyn Mauchaza and lately Marry Mubaiwa.

His new wife is a Colonel in the Zimbabwean military.

Chiwenga was Zimbabwe Defence Forces commander until he engineered a coup against former leader Robert Mugabe November 2017.
