Man Utd presented with Jadon Sancho swap deal offer
Borussia Dortmund are hosting a transfer meeting today regarding the return of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, according to reports. And the Bundesliga giants have tabled the opportunity for a swap deal that would see Erik ten Hag recruit an attacker in return for his banished No 25.
Sancho looks set to end his United career in the January transfer window, less than three years after joining from Dortmund in a £73million swoop.
The 23-year-old has underwhelmed at Old Trafford, registering 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances before his banishment in September.
After effectively calling Ten Hag a liar on social media over his exclusion from the squad that visited Arsenal and refusing to apologise, the Dutchman has shut him out.
And Dortmund are among the European clubs ready to offer him an escape route in the new year, with an intriguing twist.
According to BILD, a possible swap deal involving Sancho will be on the agenda during a meeting in Dortmund today.
The report claims BVB are willing to offer Donyell Malen as part of the exchange, otherwise valuing the Netherlands striker at £25million. EXPRESS
